DAS UK Group, the UK’s leading provider of specialist legal expenses insurance, has appointed Simon Hughes as Strategic Development Manager.
Simon is part of the Client Services Team and responsible for driving the company’s business growth strategy for its award-winning suite of BTE legal expenses, legal advice and ancillary insurance products – Family, Commercial, Landlord / Property Owner, Loss Protect, Excess Protect, Motor and Home Emergency (residential, commercial and landlord).

Simon on DAS
He first joined DAS UK in 1992, leaving in 2000 to work in a range of senior management roles and on various projects for companies such as Cunningham Lindsey, The Innovation Group and WNS Assistance. His career has focused on the areas of operational claims management, distribution / regulatory, procurement / supply chain, and TPA outsource across the following sectors:
Simon adopts a consultative approach to understand the needs of our clients and prospective insurers, intermediaries, national and regional brokers; co-creating products to support traditional and emerging risks caused by legislative and societal lifestyle changes.
